Epitechnic is a cyber security and regulatory compliance consultancy. References to 'Epitechnic', 'we', 'us', or 'our' in this notice refer to Epitechnic Ltd.

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the name, email address, company name, and message content you provide.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, which sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed and device type. Google Analytics does not run until you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and choosing again. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list, share your data with third parties for marketing purposes, or use your data for any purpose other than responding to your message.

The legal basis for processing your enquiry data is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, or, where the context requires it, your consent given by submitting the form.

We retain the content of enquiry messages for as long as is necessary to respond and manage the resulting correspondence. Where an enquiry does not result in an engagement, we delete the message within 12 months. Where it results in a client engagement, data is retained in accordance with our client data retention policy.

Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the EU. Contact form submissions are processed by AWS services within the EU. Where Google Analytics data is transferred outside the UK or EU, this takes place under Google's standard contractual clauses. We do not otherwise transfer your personal data to countries outside the UK or EU without appropriate safeguards in place.

Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing, and request restriction of processing. You also have the right to data portability where processing is based on consent or contract.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@epitechnic.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in EU Member States, the relevant national data protection authority.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised. We will not notify you of routine updates, but where changes materially affect how we process your data we will make this clear.
